This course is mainly about technique - not because technique is the most important aspect of singing. On the contrary, technique is only the INSTRUMENT by which we express ourselves. The most important aspect is EXPRESSION. What to express and how to express it are artistic choices that every singer has to make for himself. Thus this course is about the techniques required to YOUR way of EXPRESSION
5 main subjects
The singing techniques divided into five main subjects. By combining elements of these four subjects you can produce precisely the sounds you want. You will also be able to pinpoint your specific problems and mistakes, and you can focus on which techniques you wish to work on

The overall principles – Support, Twang, Artistic choise, English vowels

The four vocal modes – Neutral, Curbing, Overdrive, Edge

Sound colors - to make the sound lighter or darker

Effects - sounds which are not connected to melody or text but are sounds that underline the expression or style of a singer

Ornamentation - improvements of your vocal line, vibrato, improvisation
